Ah, I want to play Skylines but so busy right now. And I need to finish Wasteland 2 before I do Pillars of Eternity. Sigh.

Good afternoon Pixlebiters.
It's that time of year. Years. A new FromSoft game comes out this week.I'm not making any promises on journal coverage on Bloodborne. Life is busy and my reviews take up too much of my writing time. Besides, you all know I never finish those games in a timely fashion... or at all.
So what have I been playing, well:
Shadow of Morder. I picked that up for cheap during a sale and set a goal to actually finish the game before this week. Good news, I did! It helps the game is only 30 hours long. It's a fine game but pretty basic in the end. I enjoy listening to Troy Baker putting on a fake british accent. (All those times my pawn called me "master" in Dragons Dogma.... heh heh heh.) But that's over and done with now so HUZZAH! Maybe someday whe I'm bored and trophy hunting I'll try to platinum it. Not now though.
Cities: Skylines: I had a whole thing I wrote up at work to post about this and cross comparing it to the expectations of SimCity 2013 and I didn't like the tone of what I wrote. So let's just say the TL:DR version was "Skylines feels good." And it does! It's what I wanted in a city building game. I enjoy following the people around and seeing where they go. My traffic situation is bad though, and my town is a mess. Also, the map editor is finicky. I tried to import my own town's heightmap and the amount of water elements I would need... combined with the sheer size of my town means it can't be recreated accurately.... in full. So I guess I'm sticking with premades. Modding support for the game is awesome though, and it runs well on my Mac. A's all around.
Guild Wars 2: I finally convinced a friend to pick it up last time it was on sale. Otherwise, same old same old.
THIS WEEK.... Bloodborne and Pillars of Eternity are out! I have Eternity backed from kickstarter, so it'll be nice and cheap. Was debating what class/race/everything to play as in Eternity. I think I'm going Rogue-Elf-Pirate/Viking? We'll see how that goes. Bloodborne will be... interesting because I usually play some sort of spellcaster in Souls games. I'm thinking heavy on dex build for that. Fast people everywhere.
