I just bought the horizons expansion to Elite. it was fifteen bucks off on steam so I said to hell with it. I cleaned off my computer's memory to get back into pc gaming today. it's time.
nice to hear from you, Alex!

Happy new year people! It's been a few weeks since the last time I did a blog, so much like daftman does on his updates, I decided to show everything I bought ever since this blog and perhaps make this something montly, unless I simply do updates on everything that include other non-gaming related stuff.
Since that date, the Steam Holiday Sale of 2016 came and went and I did indeed get stuff, but I was calmed about it as I want to clear much of my backlog before hoarding, which is why some of the more significant boughts in my opinion were DLC or upgrades of games I already had. I also got something outside of PC gaming and other stuff coming in the way my dad and I ordered from Amazon as his christmas gifts. In any case, the games and updated I got during that span were:
Upgrades and DLC on Steam:
New games got on the 25th of December and 3rd of January over Steam:
And finally:
-Super Smash Bros. for Wii U: Yup, just like I mentioned in that blog linked, I bought with my own money the latest Smash game on a retail storey. I still haven't given in and start playing, but I already have a good impression of the game after playing a bit before and if Brawl has taught me anything, I will get addicted
I also should mention a missfortune I had during the sale: I was very involved with the latest badge making of the Steam Holiday Sale (they actually made it doable this time) and after making the main three level badge, I was selling cards just to complete other sets of badges and then have the money just to get cards for badges I wanted.... and then I accidentally spent part of the card's money on the games bought in January. Should have been careful to ignore the option to buy with that on the checkout, but because I already did that on the 25th, I thought that was set as default. God fucking damn it!
Oh and thankfully, Steam's blunder that happened on the 25th didn't seem to affect me. I also decided to put Steam Guard on my phone, which did kinda annoy me in holding trade request for 7 days, but thankfully it went away before the sale ended.
As far as stuff i've been playing, I decided to leave that one for another blog seeing as I think i've spoken enough here. in any case, how much did you buy and/or received as gifts for the holiday?
I got two books, Ernest Cline's Armada (he did Ready Player One) and Star Wars Aftermath (this tells the first in a trilogy of stories that link Return of the Jedi with Force Awakens). Then I bought myself a bunch of Skylanders figures on the buy-two-get-three-free sale Gamestop was doing.
