Would you guys read blogs about movies? I'm a bit over writing about games for a bit and want to try something else until I get my passion back. I was mostly thinking of covering some for obscure/foreign horror/action films like Martyrs, I Saw the Devil, Train to Busan etc.

I had a long ass blog about Oscar movies I've seen until i got a phone call and it got deleted. It was like having dial up again ... But yeah, I'll read anything movies.
I did a few blogs about Supernatural during BaD last month. I enjoyed the talkback and responses. Also made watching more enjoyable. Also, there is a new XMen show called Legion which is so strange and trippy that it seems it was designed to be parsed through social media discussion on purpose. I'm also watching Riverdale and reading the new Archie comics it's modeled after, much darker tone than classic Archie.
I thought about doing the same thing a while back. I watch a lot of movies, but I don't make the time to write about them.
I hadn't seen any of those movies. I enjoy many of the exploitation movies from the 80s, 70s, and 60s. If you hadn't seen any of them, check them out. They're a lot of fun. The exploitation films from current years are mostly miss than hit.
I agree, especially since a lot of horror/action has been pg-13. There's still some good stuff. If you like action sexploitation flicks from that era, check out Everly, it's a ton of fun. If you liked Troma flicks from the 80s, The Greasy Strangler came out last year - though you have to have a strong stomach for that one.
I love reading about this kind of flick, sometimes more than watching them. If you started writing about old school exploitation flicks I would totally read that.
There are a few documentaries about exploitation films that have come out over the years. I use them to give me "new" movies to watch. Amerian Grindhouse, Not Quite Hollywood, and BaadAsssss Cinema are just a few I like to watch. Also, there is a site, rarelust.com, that has a crap-ton of movies from the genre. Even if you don't download the movies, you may come across movies you forgot or didn't know about at all. I purchased several movies because I saw them on that site.
I used to do the occassional movie blog back in the 1up days. I still watch a lot of movies, so I'd read your blogs.

Do it, heck on my Quick Hits I ramble about whatever I watch on TV. I say write about what interests you, and heck we might find something new that we need to check out based on your review.
