It's been about a month since I've posted. I'm gonna blame my starting school for most of that, though it's probably more me just being lazy.

(Fair warning, I very deeply feel that The Walking Dead season 1 is among the best video game experiences I've ever had. In many cases, I've even said it's one of the better narrative experiences ever. That's going to color my thoughts on season 2.)

I didn't have much exposure to the first Borderlands game. Aside from hearing "It's got mad LEWTZ!" I didn't know anything about the game. It was released about a year before I got back into gaming, so I missed the fervor that occurs on any game's release. However, the sequel was released nearly 2 years ago. And I was around to hear about it. I actually got fairly excited and hoped to play it with an old friend of mine. However, with varying schedules, it quickly fell to the wayside.

I really want to write some game reviews and post them, but I've put them off so long that it's hard to get started. Worse, the FXX Every Simpsons Ever marathon is taking up about 93% of my attention. I can recite these episodes line by line, but I still like being able to see them. Besides, all I care to watch it through is season 8, so there's only a couple more days left.

This won't be a review, as I don't feel very compelled to do a full write-up on this almost offensively short single-player. But something started bugging me as I neared the end yesterday afternoon:

So I decided to challenge myself and do a run of Last of Us as a way to commemorate the release of Remastered tomorrow. But what makes this a challenge?

This is another review that's way too late in two respects: It's been over a year since the game was released and I played this in December, when it was on sale on the Xbox Marketplace. I wasn't very happy when PS Plus announced it would be free in March 2014. Hell, chagrined is the word I should be using. (I could go into a rant about Xbox's ridiculous sales and Marketplace promotions because they are just stupid. Really, really stupid. But I won't.)
