Just caught this review and it really just confirms the great things I've heard about this game. It is one of a few releases I missed that I am going to try and experience before the year is over and have to compile GotY lists and the like.

Great list. The first might be the most important to me. Not because I want Destiny to be Halo, but because I took for granted that Destiny's levels/scenarios/encounters would be as fun as Halo's and they weren't. These are the things Bungie excels at. Get this right and all the other stuff can help to differentiate it and help make it even cooler. I'd throw more cool special melee weapon pick ups (like that sword level) too. I know we are working on leveling up guns, but I'd happily take a break to wield some huge hammer or something more often.
I'd add maybe more interesting boss encounters, but that could probably fit into the enemy diversity one. Even then the more important part is just making really kickass normal enemy encounters and while I think Halo is better, Destiny did have some winners there. But something a little more interesting from the bosses might not hurt.
My favorite recent co-op games are:
Castle Crashers
Portal 2
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light
Splinter Cell Conviction
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
I love this blog. Really cool breakdown. I have only played with the Wii U and Xbox One pad a few times, so I can't really chime in. Last time I played Wii U, I tried using four fingers like you mentioned on the shoulders and it felt super weird. Like it is a good idea in theory, but feels alien. Maybe I'll get used to it once I get one of my own though. Who knows.
This is a great list. Yoshi's Wooly World is beyond adorable and it actually looks to transfer over the Yoshi's Island style of gameplay which I love.
I am so excited to play this. Even more so after reading this blog.
I was shocked Diddy wasn't in there. I personally would have loved Kamek. But hey we got baby Rosalina which is clearly much more important...
Sounds really cool. I'd probably give it a try if I had a system to play it on right now. I'm not the biggest competitive multiplayer guy, but platforming in multi always helps.
It sounds cool. I wish I cared enough for multiplayer to get into it. I am 360-less still anyway, but am a total sucker for wall-running so it does sound pretty rad.
Well I am glad you are playing Jak and Daxter even if I can't tell how much you are actually enjoying it.
