I own the PS1 and PSP versions and finished them both. It's a great game.

The PS4 is the same. The PS3 did it too. I guess it's because the games are on bluray and bluray drives can't read off the disks fast enough. I don't know much about it, but that's my theory.

I have Sakura Wars. I hadn't played it yet. I didn't know it was a dating sim. I just thought it looked cool and bought it.

I say, if you can't decide what to buy, then it's probably best to buy nothing and save your money. There are better deals down the road and you probably own plenty of games you haven't played yet. I know I do.

I bought a physical copy of The Witcher years ago and I still hadn't played it.
Good luck forcing yourself to play those games. I tried many times and failed.
