I think you are pushing it as the console for shoot em up...I think the saturn and the import stufff is the THE system for shoot em ups..I find myslef getting into this more as i get older...like i feel like i have missed a good chunk of retro games because i did not play much of them when i was a kid..

On the Nintendo Wii U stuff..You are spot on..They need to cut the price, that would make the system a little more appealing for everybody, and hire more people to produce games!! I mean come on, why not do crossovers..I mean people would freak out if you saw link and mario in the same games..Except smash bros!!
