For Chrono Crossing I had to pick Ikari Warriors. SNK games are always brilliant, and this was such an innovative title for it's time. Plus it still looks gorgeous.

Stage select: What game characters I would like to eat.
1. My first choice is Tif.... errr, never mind, I'll just show myself out now. 
How about Cuccos? I'll bet they taste just like chicken.
2. That giant pig in Wind Waker. That's a lotta bacon, ham, and sausage right there. Hopefully some good ribs.
3. Maybe the cake boss in Super Mario RPG? Not sure how a living cake would taste, especially after being jumped on by Mario.
Chrono Crossing:
Starflight (PC). This is the only time you'll ever see me naming an EA game as a game of the year. I didn't play it until a few years after it came out, but it was an amazing game. It was set in the year 4620, a thousand years after the fall of a galactic civilization, and you were charged with exploring the universe. You outfitted a ship, trained a crew in five different jobs (science, engineering, navigation, communication, and medicine), with the ability to pick from five different species (Human, the insectoid Velox, reptilian Thrynn, plant-like Elowan, or androids). You could explore star systems, individual planets, and nebulae looking for life forms, minerals, and treasures that would enhance your ship or fill in the game's backstory. There were multiple alien races to communicate, trade, and do battle with. Eventually, you would find a certain familiar planet within a "dead zone." Shortly after you start your game, you are also given an impending crisis to resolve that will require you to explore carefully to find all the tools you need to save your home world. Most space video games were space battle games inspired by the Star Wars craze in the early 80s; this game was definitely more Star Trek than Star Wars.

3. Aya Brea from Parasite Eve. I imagine she tastes like an expensive bottle of champaigne. I'm basing this on the evening gown she looks so elegant in during the first scene of that game. My imagination could see through the polygons in those days... It still can if I'm being honest.
2. Vanessa from King of Fighters. I imagine she tastes like Jack Daniels. She's got that punk rocker edge that I'm probably way too into. I'd chase that down with a coke all day and night.
1. Come on... You know what's coming. It's Chun Li from Street Fighter. I imagine she tastes like a fancy chinese dessert of some kind. I don't know any Chinese desserts, but if I did... Wait... Did I answer this question right? This is what Patrick meant by this question... Right? Right!?
Chrono Crossing: I'm going to pick the game Outrun here because I played it a lot at a bowling alley I went to. I had so many questions about this game and I still do. How are these people not phased by flying out of their convertable? Why is the blond in the car with this maniac in the first place? She clearly doesn't need to be there! What are you outrunning? Why are turns impossible to make on arcade steering wheels? So many questions.
My episode comment: I love longer episodes. I listen to the show at work so a long episode makes a good chunk of my day fly by. A true NWP fan never leaves the game early. (#delaware) I teared up too when my chrono crossing got read. Thank you for that. I've been wanting to share that story for a long time now. Also I'm glad I'm not the only one who has deeply scarring video game fears. I dont feel alone in that anymore. Halloween Havoc may be no more in the world of professional wrestling, but I'm glad it lives on here.

Chrono Crossing - I cannot seem to find a single game that I care about that was released in the US in 1986.
Stage Select - I've got nothing, this question is way too out there for me to even spend time dwelling upon.
