Ok, the log-in bullshit you guys are talking about with XBOX ONE is what I hate about using Steam at times. Don't sign me out, assholes, I own these! I want no part of always-online, no matter how good Internet gets. 

My PS4 downloads improved dramatically when I moved everything to an external 2TB hard drive.

Bring back Tomagotchi, but for wrestling games on a Dreamcast-like VMU.

You'd think you could rate games you own on disc on the PS Store, but here we are.

You'll love it then man. I just hated how they handled the wrap up section. If you can handle that then its a cool game. That aspect just really turned me off. Actually glad to hear you're interested as it means I wasn't too harsh on it.

I mean I haven't played it, but I'm the type of person who scans everything in Metroid Prime. We'll see if I end up playing it. 

So Video Game Cage Match is the YouTube show Madness, but without a bracket or video? Cool! That ... actually sounds better in a way. 

VIDEO GAME CAGE MATCH (COPIED FROM TWITTER): Kingdom Hearts over Earthbound for me, because while Earthbound probably has a better story, Kingdom Hearts is just way more accessible and not a turn-based RPG, automatically making it better. Plus, "Simple and Clean" reminds me of childhood. Also, Ness is useless in Smash.

Extended for Pixlbit: What I've played of Earthbound is actually super-charming and I would love to finish it with a strategy guide at some point. It's an excellent game. But even people who like the genre say there's a reason that game came with a full-on strategy guide, beyond just an instruction booklet. I still remember it being the only game I ever cried about renting as a kid, because I was so confused and that was a weekend where the last thing I needed was a wasted rental. 

I only ever rented the first couple Kingdom Hearts games, but I really dug all the Disney worlds and references from my childhood. For me this is an unfair fight, because there's so much that just makes me automatically prefer Kingdom Hearts, and I'm far from a superfan of those games. Hell, I think I got like two gummy ship levels in before returning II to Blockbuster. 

As for this podcast's Video Game Cage Match, I would actually vote for Sonic 2 for no other reason than I find it more fun to play than Mega Man 2. The music in Mega Man 2? Better. The controls in Mega Man 2? More consistent. The platforming challenges in Mega Man 2? More legitimate. 

But Sonic 2, much unlike its predecessor, actually does give you that sense of speed and is short and sweet and just plain old fun. There are times in Mega Man 2 where I have to be patient. Fuck that. My vote is for Sonic 2. 

STAGE SELECT: I still want a game for The Flash (I want to say one had been in development on N64?), with time travel being a big part of the game. It would be an open-world game in which you have Sonic's speed and eventually become fast enough to unlock what is essentially warping, but the combat would be a mix of Tekken 7 and the Arkham games, where you're quickly going from person to person, but some of them you actually have to catch or race in order to defeat, and you're traveling pretty far on the map when this happens. 

It will serve as an excuse to explore different time periods in different regions, from modern day Italy, to the ice age, to the ending to Twisted Metal 2 with the dinosaurs. 

Great episode guys. Glad for the Angelo cameo. I really enjoyed the Cage Match. I think itll be a great addition since it's so open to any argument. Cant wait to see where it goes. Also, no mention of Super Sonic? With chaos emeralds he would embarrass Megaman and I'm a much bigger megaman fan than sonic. 

Stage Select: I would love a game around the Image comic series Wayward. It's a bit like X-men in Japan. I love that series and think it could be a great game if done right. There arent too many characters and the powers they have could be used for great variety. A coop option would be even better. Huge bonus points it they get the Guilty Gear/Dragon Ball FighterZ team to do the graphics in the same style of the comic. 

Cage Match: This has to go to Kindgom Hearts. Nintendo doesn't even care enough about Earthbound to localize the 3rd one for the US. In fact eye beam lasers are threatened every time its brought up. 

Square cares enough about Kingdom Hearts to make crazy title after crazy title and be pretty damn serious about it. Dream Drop Distance! 365/2 Days! 1.5, 2.5 and 2.8! Dancing Disco Disaster! Was that last one real? Probably not but you'll never know because that requires effort. 

Also Final Fantasy and Disney characters are a big part of these series. I'll take a great FF character over an Earthbound toddler any day. 

The name of the developer for DBZ/Guilty Gear/BlazBlue is Arc System Works, and if they're on your mind, I want to play this game ... 

Yep that's it. I knew it was Arc something but was too lazy to Google it. Hence why Dancing Disco Disaster is real until proven otherwise.

Thoughts on KH vs Earthbound.  I am really hoping some random challenger emerges from the shadows to pummel them both.  

Stage Select: Ya know what, I want a Supergirl game. Yea yea, I know, that's just a Superman game Justin. That's a lame answer. But damn it, I just want a Supergirl game. Supergirl is probably my number 2 all time fictional character crush after Chun Li, and I just want to live in a world where she's more popular than Superman is... But a Wonder Woman game would be pretty sweet too actually. You could deflect all the bullets with the bracelets and Lasso of Truth motherfuckers. Plus you get all the cool Amazon fighting stuff. It would be like Assassin's Creed Odyssey but with superheros and in modern day... Okay I actually want that game. Someone make that.

Cage Match: Okay, I may be the outlyer here, but I think Earthbound wins. Now hear me out., Earthbound had a part where you battled a cult that was obsessed with painting everything blue. You are contacted by a bee sent from the future who sends you on your journey to save the world. And also wombs. Let's talk about em. To defeat the final boss of the game you have to travel back in time to when you can fight the boss in a much weaker state. So the final dungeon is composed of weird flesh colored tubes and then you reach "The Devil's Machine" which is said to look like the female reproductive organs... Yep. Oh and the boss sort of looks like a fetus... Yep. It's unconfirmed whether or not that's what you're actually doing, BUT what is confirmed is that the final boss is based on a childhood trauma the creator had when he stumbled into a movie depicting what he thought to be a rape scene... What did Kingdom Hearts do that was this fucked up? I don't know, probably Donald and Goofy talked nonsensically about hearts and darkness for 20 minutes. Also Earthbound is a turn based RPG and Kingdom Hearts has a boring button mashy battle system. So also that. Earthbound should win this match, but I understand if the referees were all paid off by Disney nostalgia how it would lose. I forgive them.

Stage Select: Doctor Strange. I never thought that character would come back to comics or the movies but he was always my favorite. Now there needs to be a video game. You could zap a lot of punks, travel the astral plane and go after Dormamu. It would be a great video game.
