Jeez, I haven't played any of these games. Which is the best one so I can try it out?

2 and only 2. Brotherhood and Revelations just exist for a plot point they completely butchar in 3 while 1 and 3 are just not good games.

give AC3 a go ... you can hunt , ride a horse , climb trees .... you get a bow which you sling over your shoulder like a badass and you get to tomahawk people ...

Far Cry 3 did the hunting so much better.

Would have been really excited for it last year, but 3 pissed me off more than any other game this gen. 

I like the settings that these games choose, but have never found myself playing any of them since the first half of the first game.

I ahven't played any of them except for the first 2/3 of the first one. But I can't help thinking about saturation points...

I only have Liberations for the vita that came in the bundle. I've yet to dive in but what i've played seems alright. The series has never really stood out for me for some reason

I realize this series is supposed to be great.  But how much Assassins Creed can people really play before they puke?

I completely agree, its becoming soooo boring...This is my problem with AAA titles, they kick the titles ass until they can't get a drop of blood out of it! honestly if Ubisoft spent some cash and developed a new IP (*cough* like Bethesda does*) the gaming landscape would be sooo much more interesting!

I never could get into this series or understand why people like it. The first game bored me to tears. I hear the second is the best, but honestly don't ever want to revisit it again lol.

AC2 was the first game I platinumed, and is definitely worth your time if you've only ever played AC1.  I did not enjoy 1 in the slightest; quit about 1/4 way through.  2 fixes everything wrong with 1, ratchets up the drama and characterization, and adds RPG-lite mechanics for that crack-like experience you know you love.  I dug 3 too, but it's nothing on 2.  Couldn't blame you if you played 1 and never wanted to go back though...

Nope! Not this time, Ubisoft. No amount of hype or glowing reviews will convince me to waste my money this time >:O

I'd buy it for $10 maybe. 3 soured me pretty badly on the series. The sailing parts were pretty good though.

Ubisoft should have taken a year off, especially with the PS4 and next gen coming,let the next gen get a good base of users ,then release next year.But they know people will buy it this year and it is relatively easy to develop......it is all about the revenue!!!

I'm waiting for the AC PS3 boxed set that is bound to happen once the PS4 takes off.

I can't wait for Assassin's Creed on the Moon.  The way they are headed, it shouldn't be too far off.  Maybe in the next couple of years.  Maybe then we'll hear the Duck Tales theme again!!

If this game's gameplay involves over 90% of sailing (sea battles and whatnot) I might just get it at full price. That was the only part of AC3 that actually piqued my interest. Well the hunting, and tree skipping looked cool too, but yeah. Funny enough I'm phobic of deep water, so if I'm on a boat (even at the beach) I effin hate it being there. Like I just imagine some huge sea creature tipping the boat over... oh, good lord, just thinking of it now F***********************************K!
