A trio of spectacular rhythm games.

PixlBit has just dropped all three reviews for the Persona Dancing: Endless Night Collection. Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight, both of which are releasing soon at $59.99 each have been bundled together, along with a PlayStation 4 port of Persona 4: Dancing All Night for the very reasonable price of $99.99. Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight

If you want to get a great understanding of how each of these games play, this is the review to read. Sonically it's my favorite of the three and the cast holds a special place in my heart being that this was my first and favorite Persona game. The upgrades with the latest releases are well covered here and it should give you a good idea of how it differs from Persona 4: Dancing All Night.

The Bottom Line: "If you’re a fan of Persona 3 or rhythm games in general, there’s a lot to love in Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight. The soundtrack continues to impress even today and the gameplay becomes incredibly addicting once you get the hang of it."

Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight

This review is a follow-on to the review of Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight. If you want to get an understanding of the game and the experience, that's the review to read first. Everything is the same in terms of the gameplay and the layout. The soundtrack and theming is what distinguishes the two, but the soundtrack being a bit more subdued makes it a little less fun than Dancing in Moonlight.

The Bottom Line: "While I didn’t love the soundtrack as much, I did find the team interactions just as fun and engaging as they were in Dancing in Moonlight. If you’ve played Persona 5, you’ll enjoy spending more time with the Phantom Thieves in their latest dancing adventure. The characters are unique and memorable and it’s easy to fall back into the world after spending so much time with the cast in the main game."

Persona 4: Dancing All Night

This is a straight up port of the Vita game. The fancy upgrades of the newer games, from fully animated 3D characters during conversations, to a cleaner user experience and interface, are all missing. But in their place is a full-fledged Story Mode, which is a bit of a different experience from the latest offerings.

The Bottom Line: "This is another title in the series that leverages the stellar Persona 4 soundtrack to make for some fantastic rhythm gameplay. The story told here is also a great bonus for super fans who don’t mind a bit of long winded dialog."
