If you're not watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine, you really need to check that show out. It's hilarious. Also Archer, or should I say Archer Vice.

@Greenman I'm gonna check out Archer while I have Netflix and Brooklyn if they have it.

I liked what I saw of the Andy Sanberg show Greenman mentioned, and New Girls with Prince seemed decent, but I wasn't paying much attention. Gonna try to watch SHIELD on ABC this Tuesday. Mostly, I watch local news. Had no idea someone in Tyler, TX produced ZZ Top, among others like Elvis and Ike/Tina Turner. I need to watch that story again online.

I haven't had the chance to watch Brooklyn Nine-Nine, but that's because I'm busy watching so much stuff. For comedy I currently watch Raising Hope, and I can't wait for the second season of Legit.

Don't watch much TV, but over the past few months I've seen a good bit of British programming. Most notably, The IT Crowd, Sherlock, and Gadget Man. You can catch the first two on Netflix (minus the latest season of Sherlock and the very last episode of The IT Crowd) and the last on YouTube.

Brooklyn's in its first season so not on Netflix yet. Fortunately Netflix has plenty of Archer.

I haven't seen Brooklyn 99 yet.

As for my shows it seems I only watch a handful that are not "reality" shows right now, but it will pickup once the Spring/Summer lineups start popping up

Archer, Girls, Community, House of Lies, and SHIELD. A couple of other shows I will catch here and there but I usually try to catch up on them on Hulu+

Been watching Archer (or is it Archer Vice now?) and Rick and Morty. Also finished up season 3 of Sherlock yesterday.

I was curious as to what Gadget Man is about, so I watched the first couple of episodes. I was expecting a comedy of sorts, but it's Beyond 2000 (an old science/gadget show originally from Australia) with comedic elements. I've enjoyed it so far.

I'll check out Archer then. Thanks as usual.

Been watching the Arrow on Netflix and I love it so far, I think I'm on episode 16 or so.

 Brooklyn Nine-Nine is where all of the good Parks and Rec writers went. Seriously, P&R is a husk of its former glory. On the plus side, Community is better than ever. And by that, I mean nearly as good as its second best season.

 Apart from those shows, I've been watching a tonne of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. That show is fucking phenomenal! It is really hit or miss though. Some episodes are really kind meh. But the episodes that land really land.

Banshee is good. Great, ultra-violent sex fest. It's like a modern spaghetti western. It's the best kind of dumb fun!

Yeah, it's not an out-and-out comedy, but it's pretty great nonetheless. The episodes with Richard Ayoade are my favorite. Sadly, Chessa and I just finished them up last weekend, so we'll have to wait until the next season (assuming there's going to be one).

I really only watch dvd seasons of shows, since I work nights. Any good ones to recommend? Bonus points for Sci Fi/ Fantasy.

 I just started watching The Americans. Holy shit it's good. It almost evokes early breaking bad in some respects, and the pilot especially reminds me of the second episode, where they're hiding the drug dealer in the basement. Like Breaking Bad, this has some really dark comedy, and like Breaking Bad, I sense this is nothing compared to what we're about to see.

What have you seen? Looking for newer stuff, older stuff? Ever seen Space: Above and Beyond? Babylon 5? Dark Angel?

The last one I've seen was Sparticus, which is kinda sorta in that vein. The last truly great one I have seen was Battlestar Galactica. Star Trek of course, StarGate SG1, and Firefly/ Serenity off the top of my head. I recently got Dr. Who series 1, but haven't watched it yet. Not really all that into sitcom-y stuff, though. I was thinking of giving Farscape a whirl.

If you haven't seen Babylon 5, you should. Probably one of my all time favorite sci fi series. The first four seasons are awesome, the fifth not so much. I liked Farscape to begin with, but it got a little too weird for my taste. Dark Angel was also really good, first season more so than the second, and it's obvious that there should have been a third, but it got cancelled before that could happen. Space Above and Beyond is a good space marines vs evil aliens series.

Can anime also be talked here, or just western television?

I'll second Babylon 5 for anyone looking for good science fiction.  It's also one of my favorite sci-fi shows ever (along with Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, and Deep Space Nine). It has a pretty epic story, which was planned out ahead of time so there are alot of great plot threads running through the multiple seasons.

Space Above and Beyond was also pretty good.  If you haven't seen Twin Peaks, that's another great show with a supernatural element.  I also really enjoyed Alien Nation.

Starhunter (or Starhunter 2300) is a pretty good and lesser known show.  It sort of reminds me of Firefly.  It's about bounty hunters who have modified a ship to use for their missions.

two broke girls is pretty funny. i like two and a half men too.

Gotta recommend Rick and Morty, one of the funniest things I've seen in years. Definitely the best thing I've ever seen on Adult Swim. Even had one episode where they just improved dialog then drew it after, it's so ridiculous.

The Americans is one of my favourite shows on television at the moment.  I just started the second season and it feels amazing.
