About Me:

Hey guys! Name's Darby, and I am a freelance game reviewer. I run a small blog that posts updates about the gaming world and reviews on old and new games. It took me a little bit to decide what I wanted to do in the gaming industry, and I'm working on a degree in animation and visuals. I also love writing, and so I decided to start on reviews as well!

I have my dad to thank for teaching me my three favorite things-how to work on cars, how to work on computers, and getting me into video games. He's always introduced me to the coolest things, and I immediately followed him playing Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Mechwarrior, Ultima Online, Lineage....the list is forever long, but it made me even more awesome every year with new game releases, so I can't really complain. Gaming and technology are a huge part of my life, and I enjoy every second of it.

I'm a really big RPG, action/adventure player, so that's where you'll find me most of the time. The only games I'm not really a fan of are sports and horror types. I enjoy watching people play horror games, but if you hand me the controller, I scream, bounce up and down in my chair, while making my character run the opposite way. I am proud that I got through about 20 minutes of F.E.A.R. It was a big accomplishment for me.
