Recent Game Announcements
This month has been pretty incredible for game announcements. It seems to be leading into and building on announcments for E3. I was first skeptical about Batman Arkham Origins being done by someone other than RockSteady. When I got the new Game Informer, I am become a believer and excited. Its on top of my list as one my most wanted. The New Game Informer shed light on The Wolf Among Us which I am more excited about as well and showed off a great looking portable Batman game. The new Game Informer is a very good issue.
The recently announced The Killer Within is a must for me. What was that about survival horror can't be done or won't sale on physical formats? Oh yeah. Well the king of survival horror is giving it a go again. It looks very twisted. I am stoked to hearn more about it.
The announcement of a Link to the Past sequel or somewhat sequel. Whatever. It been announced was a huge surprise. I remember that it was long rumored long ago. It is the sequel to my favorite Zelda and one of my favorite games of all time. It is a must own. It really making the 3DS more attractive and the Wii U must be holding out to counter the PS4/Next Xbox. It needs to because it is in a terrible position otherwise. Anyway, getting games and having most wanted is never ending. I am always happy when I pre-order games and get them out of the way and then BAM, new must wanted games pop up and its like starting over again.
- I never mentioned I beat Spec Ops: The Line. The game was better than I expected.
- The Batman game on handhelds is an awesome surprise, especially the talent behind it which makes it a must buy for me.
- Premonition: Director's Cut on the PS3 is the next game that I will have followed by Soul Sacrifice.
- Life is ok but I am really thinking about getting out of the navy. I am in the position were I have to get out of the navy if I don't make first class in the navy within a year. I been screwed over a few times preventing that but I am tired of being away from family. I am tired of this lifestyle.
- This is the biggest year for gaming and the next consoles will impact the future of the industry.
I wonder how big June will be. Its an odd feeling of wanting to get overwelmed with exciting announcements but getting overwelmed also means probable sacrifices and or less money in the pocket because of games.
