Hi everyone? How are you all doing? Im doing ok considering things. I had a terrible Saturday though. I was crazy hungover. I was tired but couldn't sleep. Today though had been good. I played a lot of Helldivers. Have you played it? I think its awesome. It is a very challenging game that encourages you to play with others. It has a lot nice touches that I could mention but it would be time consuming. Great game. Highly recommend it for some quick rounds of objectives here and there.

In the time I been away from here, I been just playing video games, watching youtube channels, Netflix, and Hulu Plus. Of course I also been spending time with my little girls. Things aren't much different though. I am still not divorced but that will come soon. I wanted to wait until after my wife moves out but its been so many months now but its been so long...

I did what I could but I am getting a divorce. Its not something I wanted before but I am tired of it and want to move on. I am not happy and neither is she. It is both of our fault. Neither of us have been good to each other and we are not that compatible. That is at least what she says. It doesn't have anything to do with video games but it does bug me how she hates gaming with a passion and pays remotely no interest to hangout with me while I do play.

How are you all? There has been a lot I want to blog about but the time I have I usually use to play games. I have been working six days a week with Sundays off and its a regular thing. It sucks not having full weekends off but its paying the bills. I have gone through some major arguments were it seemed like we were actually getting a divorce. It is almost been to the point of me not caring anymore. Things are ok now though.

There are many great announcements but I will get to one particular one first. It is Microsoft announcing that the next Tomb Raider game is exclusive to Xbox One. As a XB1 owner I will get and play the game but I am not happy about it. Why is that? I feel Microsoft secured the title out of laziness on their part to do more in-house development. It might be cheaper to just buy out third party titles but it also does little to help Microsoft in the long road.

There is so much to say about E3. First I caught the Sony Conference at the movie theaters. That was pretty cool and jammed packed with a much older crowd that I expected. I didn't get to see Microsoft's full conference since I was at work but I say that I am excited to know more about and play Scalebound, Inside, and Sunset Overdrive. The Halo Master Chief Collection was great but not something I am too excited about. Playing all the maps in the series though is incredible. I think Microsoft had some great things but I wasn't impressed. Scalebound peaked my interest though most but we didn't see any gameplay. Sunset Overdrive is likely going to be crazy fun.
Now as for Sony's Conference, the start of Destiny is nice but frankly my excitement for it has dwindled a lot. There is so much more that I am excited about and the lack of seeing any compelling story narrating as you progress makes me feel like I will end up getting tired of it. With that said, my pre-order still stands and will get it but feel a bit lukewarm with the title now and that is really no thanks to games like Far Cry 4, Batman Arkham Knight, and Assassin's Creed: Unity. They all look ridiculously good in the size and detail. The altitude in Batman Arkham Knight and Far Cry 4 are incredible. Assassin's Creed just won't let me go. Unity is jaw dropping gorgeous.

We know we will see Halo Guardians, Uncharted, Sunset Overdrive, Far Cry 4, Batman: Arkham Knight, and so on at E3. I am nearly content with what I saw of Witcher 3 and Destiny but games like Far Cry 4 has to have a big reveal if its truely coming this year. Uncharted and Halo Guardian are way up there though but I don't expect to hear everything about them since they have another E3 presence in the future.  I will start off with Final Fantasy VII remake. I am a huge fan of the game but in some ways I want it to come to just have closure. I feel it will come be it five to 10 years from now or not but its a waiting game. Of all the remakes that continue to happen, it is the one that people clamor for the most and the most deserving. With that said, its not really ever on my mind because I am not expecting it anytime soon. It is a no-brainer as cash cow and if Square Enix is listening as they said they now are, they will deliver it at some point.

I helped two people beat the Ancient Dragon and now I can say I have done it!!! It has been one thing I wanted to list on my video game accomplishments! I was so frustrated with this optional boss. I have to give thanks to NEK0vitamin2 and REN-0115. I couldn't have done it without them! They were a huge help. A lot of battles I have against the Ancient Dragon have always killed someone off within seconds. The two people I mentioned have helped me up to the end and done a significant amount of damage to the Dragon.

This is going to be a big E3 for Microsoft having something to prove. The price drop for the XB1 is needed if they can't outsell the PS4 with better released and announced software. It is pretty telling that Titanfall couldn't give it a win for March. That being said, Microsoft had already made some impressive moves. While they have been releasing free games, it’s nice to see them label it. Games with Gold is a nice title. The inclusion of taking down the pay wall to utilize Netflix and other apps has been a long time coming. I am impressed that they went further and allowing people to cash in on unused time on Xbox Live.

The Wii U has been in trouble for a long time. I believe there are multiple reasons. I believe one of the problems is the gamers that it doesn't attract. The games all lend themselves to that Nintendo quality. They don't have that third party support to back them up and I don't mean just with multiplatform games. I mean with unique IPs and more often, mature titles that would attract the audience that Microsoft and Sony has. What can be done by this? What could help push units for Nintendo?
