So, after my trip off of the face of the earth, I'm back! Sadly, things went a little south for Retro Rampage, so I've rebranded and am currently flying solo with Cartridge Carnage. While there's no content up there just yet, I'm in the process of getting things together to get the show started off right - I'm preparing an opening, trailer, all of the related media for the page graphics, and so on and so forth.

Wow, I've been extremely absent haven't I? Believe me, I feel like a piece of shit, so here's an update as to what the hell has been going on!

What's up everyone! In case you didn't know - or haven't watched any Retro Rampage videos where I do the voice - I do a pretty good Stewie Griffin. If you could, check out my video and vote for me to win - I'd get to do a voice for the premiere of Family Guy!

So a while back (December-Januaryish) Joey and I wrote an article for Hardcore Gaming 101. It was a fairly in depth review of Rudra no Hihou - or Treasure of the Rudras, a fantastic 16-bit RPG from Square that has a magic system so unique you'll wonder why the hell we didn't get it (which is explained in the article) and why you haven't played it.

So "sharky," or known around these parts as asrealasitgets, created a Steam Group for all of us here on Pixlbit, and I think it's a fantastic idea - it lets us all see what games everyone has, share some games that are worth playing and might have flown under the radar, and of course, play some coop/multiplayer games together!

I know, I'm late to the party with this - but I've been busy with the show and my currently-in-development love letter to arcade shmups, but all the Sony fanboys were getting massive erections over Sony's supposed "DRM free" PS4.

I’m a proud Xbox owner. It’s my emulation powerhouse, my KotoR paradise, my Battlefront buddy, and it’s also home to some interesting exclusives that it would seem many people have forgotten. As a service to the community, and because I really just wanted people to know that the Xbox has a nice set of exclusives, I put together a quick list with some descriptions and prices for some of the best Xbox exclusives out there.

My my it has been a long time, and so I’d like to apologize to all of you PixlBitters/1Uppers that I’ve inadvertently been ignoring due to work, filming, and the small bits of life in between – I always come back! With that said, earlier, I tweeted something that when I first typed it, didn’t realize how much weight it held. See below:

Let's face it - some games are just hard as balls, whereas others are too easy, but some of these difficult games, not just Gradius difficult, but beyond that - we're talking I-now-have-2-years-left-off-of-my-life-expectancy-from-taking-a-month-to-beat-this-son-of-a-bitch type games.
