Former 1upper. Not a blogger but a daily reader and semi-frequent commenter. Figured I'd give this place a shot since I need a game site to go to and prefer places more intimate than ign.

I've been playing games since the atari and the commodore 64 days. I've owned a NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Wii U, all three playstations, a gameboy, Vita, and 3DS.

Honestly, I play a little of everything. I like platformers, puzzle games, RPGs, shooters, adventure games (used to be a huge sierra and lucasarts fan), actions games, etc. If it looks fun, I'll give it a shot.

Favorite Games:

It’s hard to make a list like this, and I’m sure it’s very incomplete (and I haven’t played some of these in years), but…Super Metroid, Dark Souls, Persona 3&4, Super Mario Kart (the original), Megan Man 2, A link to the Past, Super Mario World, Pyschonauts, Jumpman, M.U.L.E., Archon, GoldenEye, Tony Hawk…

I’ll always have a great fondness for Adventure Games too, especially classic ones. I've owned, played, and enjoyed all of the Sierra and Lucasfilm/arts adventure games. My favorites were the Space Quest and King’s Quest Series, as well as Day of the Tentacle and Monkey Island.

Favorite Music:

I'm not really choosy when it comes to genre, but I guess you could say my favorites are punk/post-punk, folk, old-school country, and alot of indie bands in general. Some of my all-time favorite bands are Neutral Milk Hotel, Mountain Goats, Social Distortion, 16 Horsepower, Jawbreaker, Johnny Cash, The Pogues, Radiohead, Jay Reatard, Dead Kennedys, Fugazi, Built to Spill, Archers of Loaf....
